- ADAM and EVE -
Lay here gently at my side;
 It is from whence you came
I thank the Lord for your embrace
 And praise His holy name.

Alone I strolled through Eden's grace
 And pondered starry skies,
But now I gaze at you and see
 Creation in your eyes.

From this day forth all things are new
 Our new life has begun,
Yet I recall with each caress
 When our hearts beat as one.

Hand in hand we'll grow in love
 And share a common fate;
No favor asked will be denied
 Or task will be too great.

God filled the hollow of my soul
 With someone to adore,
So lay here gently at my side
 And make me whole once more.
