- MY LIFE (SO FAR) -
Below the brown and barren hills
 Stretch yellow fields of daffodils
  Dawning...
   Yawning...
    Spawning newborn life;

Waiting for the twilight's dwindle,
 Golden petals turning brindle
  Persisting...
   Resisting...
    Existing free from strife;

When from above, a revelation!
 Rain descends in celebration,
  Drenching...
   Quenching...
    Clenching days galore;

Supple tendrils greet tomorrow,
 Dripping with forgotten sorrow,
  Cleaner...
   Leaner...
    Greener than before.
