- THE ZOMBIE SHUFFLE -
One summer night while I enjoyed
 A Caribbean cruise,
The ship docked at a tiny isle
 For cocoanuts and booze;
I spied a girl upon the beach
 With eyes as black as night,
But when I asked her for a kiss,
 They opened wide with fright!

Chorus:
     The girl I love cannot love me
      Unless I set her spirit free...
     I should have grabbed her hand and fled,
      The shuffle of the walking dead.

She told me of the frightful fate
 That plagued her wrenched souló
A zombie prince with coal black eyes
 One night her heart he stole;
Now she was forced to marry him
 To get her ticker back,
Or live forever without love
 In nightmares drenched in black.

Chorus:
     The girl I love cannot love me
      Unless I set her spirit free...
     She'll dance with him the night they're wed,
      The shuffle of the walking dead.

I asked her if there was some way
 To flee his dark embrace,
She answered with a gentle kiss,
 Then bit me on the face!
I died that night while in her arms,
 Now I'm her zombie guy,
Forever we shall walk the night...
 Our love will never die!

Chorus:
     The girl I love can now love me
      Because she set my spirit free...
     No longer shall we have to dread
      The shuffle of the walking dead.
